A lot of cool smartphones are coming out this October. If you look more closely, there will be almost more of them than in any other month of this year. What makes the list even more interesting is that many of the smartphones in it are flagships. Some of them have already been presented and are just waiting to be released, others will only show, but the exact date has already been named, and for the third, there are only rumors, but few doubt that they will come true. Whatever it is and what brands would not present new items, they will still be of interest to a true technology fan. Let’s see what kind of smartphones they will be and when we expect them to be on sale.
Will Huawei Mate 40 Come Out
The most important product for Huawei this year is the Huawei Mate 40 series. After a dispute with the United States recently, Huawei has limited itself to China, releasing smartphones only there.
In addition, there are rumors that the next iteration of the Mate series – the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Special Edition – will go on sale in late October in China. The Pro version will likely have arc-shaped rear cameras. The processor will almost certainly be the Kirin 9000 (previously called the Kirin 1000 or Kirin 1020), but the base variant may have a slightly less powerful 9000E. This is the same processor that was hastily produced at TSMC factories before the restrictions came into effect. Many were produced, but not enough to keep Huawei alive for many months to come. According to various estimates, their number was 12-15 million, which is several times less than the company’s needs.
We can expect other features as well, such as 5G, AMOLED display with a hole in the screen, wireless charging, large battery, and EMUI 11 out of the box. True, how all this beauty will be sold in the world is not yet clear. As well as the future of the company as a whole.
Oppo Find X2 League of Legends S10 Limited Edition
The Oppo Find X2 will likely receive a special edition dedicated to the popular League of Legends game. According to rumors and leaks, the Find X2 League of Legends S10 Limited Edition will likely launch on October 12 in China.
It will be accompanied by two Oppo Watches with similar themes. While the news hasn’t been officially released yet, the leaked promotional material shows updated enclosures with green-colored surfaces and themed logos. The S10 is reportedly pointing to the game’s 10th competitive season.
OnePlus 8T and Nord N10, N100
OnePlus has skipped the Pro variant with the upcoming OnePlus 8T, which will launch on October 14 at 7:30 pm Moscow time in India and October 15 in China. The device will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB RAM, 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Since the Nord did not debut in the US as previously promised, OnePlus is expected to unveil two new devices – the Nord N10 and N100, most likely this month. One of them (N10) may have a Snapdragon 690 5G SoC, a 6.49-inch HD + display and have an aggressive price tag.
iPhone 12 Presentation
Apple’s iPhone 12 series is probably the most talked-about right now. It will include the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The sizes of the displays will be 5.4 inches, two at 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches, respectively. All of them are rumored to be equipped with AMOLED displays, Apple A14 processor, internal storage up to 512GB, and 5G connectivity.
In addition, the Pro version will have LiDAR and mmWave connectivity. Prices are rumored to start at $ 649 and go up to $ 1,399. The presentation is already scheduled for October 13, and the start of sales will most likely take place on October 16 or October 23. It is possible that the top models will be released later.
Oppo A15 – New OPPO Smartphones
Oppo has unveiled the new Oppo A15 smartphone on Amazon India. While the launch date is not final yet, we can expect it in October given that teasers have already begun to appear. However, the specifications are also a mystery at this point.
Looking at the images, however, we can expect a triple main camera and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In addition, it is assumed that the smartphone will receive a 4230 mAh battery, a 10 W charger, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a ColorOS 7.2 shell.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Series – Another Xiaomi Smartphone
Xiaomi launches the Mi 10T series smartphone – Mi 10T 5G and Mi 10T Pro 5G. There was a lot of controversy regarding their release, but in any case, they will find their buyer.
The Mi 10T has a 6.67-inch LCD with FHD + resolution and 120Hz (10T), 144Hz (10T Pro) refresh rates. It is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor, 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Smartphones differ from each other with rear cameras. The Mi 10T Pro has a 108MP main sensor, while the 10T has a 64MP sensor.
Pixel 4a 5G and 5 5G – The New Pixel
While Google’s new Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 smartphones were announced globally last month, they haven’t launched yet. However, it can also be considered a smartphone due out in October. It remains to wait until October 15th.
